Cycle Sandwich

Our latest favorite thing to do in H-fry: Saturday nights (7-midnight) two dudes and one cycle delivery dude (the sandwich courier) hawk gourmet sammies out their home in the gritty north end. Meat-lovers and vegans can finally dine under the same moonlight/200 watt light of the discarded 1980s family-room lamp.

For $5 you can enjoy your sandwich in the ambient yard or have it delivered to you home at no extra charge. You can also purchase a bottle of homebrew for a donation (no set price).

The experience is alot like being Val Kilmer in The Doors, but with sandwiches.

While We Never Made it to the Bay of Fundy...

We did do a lot of other great things, including spending a ton of time with our newest cousin edition Charlie. Uncle Jim and Auntie Nancy and Charlie took Halifax by storm. Charlie went shopping (see pics below), went to Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg. We had a great day filled with lunch, candy, ceramics, car-sickness (Meg, again), and lots of Nova Scotian ocean sights.

The next day, I thought it would be wicked to go to the Bay of Fundy as I hear the Bay of Fundy is wicked. Turns out we never actually made it to the Bay. Instead, I had us drive around the Glascoop Trail and although it was great scenery for the first 20km, the last 60km of the same thing tuckered everyone out. Here's to adventures.

The trip ended with strolling tours around the city.

Oh, Jim hates white things in his Lobster. On the other hand, Nancy down right loves the stuff. I had to keep slapping her hands away from my creepy crawler.
