Reclaim you city ... one lamp post at a time

Some vigilante has made John St a little bit greener - a great idea indeed (one I think Pumpkin should stealthily instigate in Regina).

Max Humidity

Being prairie gophers, we are still adjusting to the atlantic humidity. It makes hot hotter and cold colder. It makes everything in the house soggy - sheets, floors, kleenex boxes, fridge-bound grocery lists, etc. This wicker blind, that used to hang from our living room window, now sits in the alley waiting to be picked up on garbage day because it went rank moldy from the relentless humidity.

House in a Fort Night

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately - we have been busy with work, research, and all the company we've had this summer. Things have slowed down now that August is here. Stay tuned for the upcoming blog entries (that we plan to post this week) that will highlight Laura and Dakota's visit to Halifax and Deb, Lance, Wearn, and Kristen's visit as well. In the mean time, here are some pics of the fort we built on Friday night - the plan was to watch season 4 of House until the sun came up; sadly, we made it through 1.5 episodes and were fast asleep in the fort by 11:50pm. Miss you all. Hope your summers have been summer-liscious.
